100 Days of Gratitude - Day 37 - The Big Lebowski
Monday, March 14, 2011 at 5:33PM That's right Dude, I'm thankful for The Big Lebowski.
The movie cracks me up every time I watch it. So many layers and subtleties to it.
Such great characters. Such caring for each other (Walter even loves Donny - even though he's always telling him to STFU).
I'm certain that I've seen the movie at least 30 times. Parts of it even more than that. And every time I still notice something new.
This weekend we set up the projector and sound system in front of my workshop and watched it "Drive In" style with friends.
It was a combination of Day's 1 (my family), 2 (friends), 3 (work - I have some cool tech toys because of my work), 4 (dogs - Beulah came too), 12 (smart and creative people), 20 (my workshop), and 33 (popcorn).
I love sharing something special with people I care about. Later in the week I think we'll watch Fight Club! Woo Hoo.
