100 Days of Gratitude - Day Two - Friends
Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 10:51AM Day one was family. Day two is friends. Obviously it's the people in my life that I'm most grateful for.
I'm so grateful for the variety and depth of friendships that I have. If wealth is measured in friendships I'm the luckiest man alive.
Every great moment in my life has involved my friends in one way or another. I'm gonna name a few names, though I do run the risk of leaving someone out (good thing this is easily edited).
Some of my friends I've had since High School & College, and even though I don't talk with them very often, I know that they're always there for me, and I'm always here for them. Into this category fall Dennis Hoffman, Rick Kyle, Gordon Clements.
Some of my friends are entertainers (or involved in magic) and we support each other in so many ways. This group tends to be the group I call upon again and again, and who I talk with the most. In this group (in no particular order) are David Hira, Brian Brushwood, Bonnie Brushwood, Gus Davis, Alex Rangel, Danny Garcia, Angel Rangel, David Rangel, Jonny Zavant, Dan Martin, Nate Staniforth, Hull Youngblood, John O'Bryant, and Mike Meadows.
Some of my friends are from my hometown of Liberty Hill. Mostly a group of guys who know each other because our wives are friends - fortunately we all really like each other too. Dave, Dan, Keith - you're all great guys and I love spending time with you.
Some of my friends are people that I only know from twitter or facebook, but I get value from them each day.
My best friend is the woman I spend my life with, by beautiful Kimmi. Though she was the topic of yesterdays "Day One" post - she is first and foremost, my friend.
To all of you - thank you for being my friend. The word LOVE is often over used, but I can honestly say (and have said) to every person I've named in this long post - I Love you guys. Really I do.
